OK, I was attempting to mark the boxes I have found or know are missing as
"ignore" so I can see more easily what boxes I have yet to find in my area.
What is the easiest way to do this? I find that if I click on the flag, I
can change my status, but then it is awkward to get back to the clue
page-after I submit changes it takes me back to the clue and I then have to
go back to the map, state, region pages again. It is awkward and item
consuming.
Am I missing something obvious here? Please know this is not a criticism-I
don't begin to understand the simplest programming so respect and appreciate
what has been done. Just making sure I am not coming at it bass-ackwards as
I am wont to do at times
TIA

Hiya Mama Stork,
What I do is hit the Back button three times after
updating a status to get back to the box list page that I
was one. I think about this to see if there's a way to
give you a Return to My Search type link after submitting
a status change.

I hold the button down on the flag (I'm on a Mac... on a PC you'd right
click) and choose to open the link in a new window. It pops up, you do your
thing, you close it. Check off all the ones you've found and then reload it to
make sure you got 'em all. :)

That's smart. Should I make it launch the change status in
it's own window automatically? That would be easy to do.

It would work great for me, but I am also content with status quo at this
point now that you told me how to do this!

That would be great if change status opened a new window. Also I
have another question...
I recently added boxes to a series, but rather than edit the existing
series, I created a new listing so that (1) I can get it to post on
the announce Yahoo group, and (2) so that people who already found
the first set of boxes, would not have the clues suppressed (hidden).
Is there a way that when placers increase the number of boxes by way
of editing there clues, that somehow those cluse would no longer be
hidden on others list of boxes or flagged some other way.
Buzzard also added boxes to one of his series, that I never would
have known about had he not posted a message on the SoCal group.
